The lawmakers here are well aware of what has happened in India, especially when it comes to Pakistan-sponsored terrorism. Israel faced on October 7th (2023), and when I saw that it happened in India, it reminded me of that. While Liberals tried to duck and hide during the debate on Iran, I had a few spirited exchanges with Elizabeth May about Iran, international law, and the defence of the innocent. Even though I disagree, I credit her for showing up and defending her position (unlike Mark Carney). It is my firm belief that sovereignty is invested in the people of a nation. When governments have clearly turned on their people and when the people have no other alternative, those people have a right to seek support and assistance from elsewhere in order to survive and be free.
