When asked about President Trump characterizing fears around AI as “a hoax,” Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang says “however it's characterized,” there is a “0% chance” the world will end by 2030 because of AI. “I think that scaring people is unnecessary. It is irresponsible,” Huang tells CBS News’ Jo Ling Kent. Huang also says he agrees with the president that existing regulations should be applied rather than adding new ones.
