"Term limits are very popular with the public. I've seen it both ways," Trump said. "I've seen where people go in, and they get termed out...You end up with total rookies in there; nothing gets done. In light of the Supreme Court ruling that states can prohibit transgender athletes from competing on girls' and women's sports teams, NCAA President Charlie Baker says “the most important thing about it is to have a clear policy and to have one that is consistent with federal policy.” “Because that eliminates sort of all the gray with respect to how this should be dealt with or how it should be treated,” he explains. When asked if the policy "makes the NCAA inclusive enough," Baker says, “Yeah, I do...there's plenty of science and plenty of debate and discussion about this, and reasonable people can disagree. But I don't believe that this change at the federal level, which did create clarity for us around this issue, steps us back at all from our policies with respect to inclusivity and participation.”
