When asked at a convention if Val Kilmer was difficult to work with, Michael Biehn said, “I don’t know.” Then, after a pause: “I never met Val Kilmer on Tombstone (1993). I only met Doc Holliday.”

Val Kilmer should have won an Oscar . Unbelievable character and totally legit. Most quotable character ever.

Val Kilmer was great as Doc Holiday, but I think Michael Biehn contributed a lot to that with his performance as Johnny Ringo.

classic hollywood mystery always better than the real deal honestly

Literal Legend

Kilmer should have won an Oscar for this role.

"You're drunk, you're probably seeing double." "I've got two guns, one for each of ya."

One of the best to ever do it

Cast was insane. All heavy hitters. Boothe might be my favorite. Not a lot of actors can pull off a preacher. I would highly recommend Guyana Tragedy: The Story of Jim Jones he was in.

Fantastic movie. One I still somehow like more each time I watch it. It’s a crime Val Kilmer did not win an Oscar. The entire cast was amazing though.

“He’s just like me….”

Whoever thought up this scene is an F’n genius - I mean obviously the performances put into legendary status - but somebody had this idea first - Bless him lol

Powers Boothe sealed the scene at the end with his giggle and pat on Ringo's back what a great movie

My FAVORITE movie of all time! Why Johnny Ringo, you look like somebody just walked over your grave.

The fact that Leo DiCaprio's nomination for Gilbert Grape edged out Kilmer is a crime against Performing Arts.

Val Kilmer and Michael Biehn were magnificent together. 😊

Michael Biehn is GOAT. He can't do anything bad

Great movie

RIP to one of the greatest 😭😭😭

He came to a Thanksgiving when he was dating someone I knew. Guy was fairly normal to be honest.

Kilmer’s Doc Holiday is one of my favorite characters in film of all time. The rhythm of his voice, timing, and line delivery is just perfection.

That pause feels like a director’s cut of an inside joke, reminding us how legends swap roles behind the scenes.

Best western ever made

How did he not win an oscar?

No better compliment ♥️

Favorite movie all time along with Man on Fire

Fucking Billy Zane in this movie looks so entirely out of place lol

I heard Michael Biehn say that in an interview. Val Kilmer's death was a terrible blow to cinema and fans.

It is said he stayed in character the entire time

What a classy compliment

One of the best movies ever made. Val Kilmer (RIP) literally owned the role of Doc Holliday. No one will ever be able to top his performance. Ever...

I gotta watch that movie sometime.

Hasn’t been a decent western since tombstone, I miss a good western
