DJ Tira is suddenly talking about voting registration. Where was he during the March and March protests? But now? The ANC has started its local elections campaign. Influencers are being paid R50K–R100K to "motivate" the masses. And suddenly celebrities remember we have a vote. We about to see a lot of paid ANC campaigns on the TL from X influencers. They don't care about us. They care about their pockets. They won't march with you. They won't speak for you. They won't risk their brand deals for you. But they will smile on camera and tell you to "go register." Jacinta Ngobese already told us how to vote: "Be loyal to your vote. Be selfish about your vote. Your vote must work for you. There must be no loyalty to a political party ..; only loyalty to what services can be delivered to you." She didn't say "go vote for the ANC." She didn't say "go vote for the EFF." She said: vote for your future. Vote for your children. Vote for service delivery. So yes ..; register to vote. But register with your eyes open. Don't vote for celebrities. Don't vote for influencers. Don't vote for empty promises. Vote for South Africa. Vote for yourself. And never vote for anyone who stayed silent when we needed them.

Ron DeSantis sure sounds like he is queuing up a 2028 run for President, and I like how he is tailoring his message to be pro-MAGA w/o slobbering over Trump too much: "You can't go say, 'well, we Republicans won this district by 10 points. So therefore, we're going to win it' - because President TRUMP is the reason you won by 10 points!" "Donald Trump has created a big pool of voters, but some of them are unique to him. they will go vote for TRUMP, they'll vote for all the Republicans when Trump's on the ballot. But if he's not on the ballot, some of them don't vote!" "You can OVERCOME that. We did it in Florida in 2022." "We had a state that was a purple state, one point state. Dear Nigerians, Please pay attention and plan ahead for the coming elections. One thing that should concern every voter is the election date. Holding the election on 16th January could make it more difficult for many Nigerians to vote, as a lot of people may still be away from their usual place of residence after the festive season. Whether intentional or not, anything that makes it harder for eligible Nigerians to vote should concern all of us. My advice is simple: make sure your polling unit is in the location where you will be on election day. If you intend to travel during the holidays, plan your return early so you can exercise your right to vote. Don’t allow logistics or poor planning to stop you from participating in the election. Your PVC is your power. Your vote is your voice. Justice can never be cracked.
