#WATCH | Delhi: On the NCERT book with the controversial judiciary chapter row, former Director of NCERT, J.S. Rajput says, "...The entire country respects the Supreme Court but I would also like to say that NCERT is an institution whose pupils occupy most of the big positions. NCERT imparted knowledge to them and charted their future...In this entire matter, I felt that the reputation of NCERT has suffered a blow. The words used by the Supreme Court - conspiracy, scandalous were not needed at all. If there were differences between the two institutions, they could have been called in and spoken with...This could have been rectified. NCERT amends its books every year as per the suggestions that come in...We are all humans and to err is human. Supreme Court too makes mistakes. When a person is acquitted after 15 years and it is said that they are innocent, imagine what would that individual feel. But nobody is taken to task for the incorrect judgment. So, why should this happen just with NCERT? What was the reason for such harshness?...It pains me to hear the things that were said...In this matter, NCERT's reputation has suffered a blot and the matter could have been resolved even without it." He also says, "It (corruption) should indeed be written about...But such a harsh reaction by the judiciary was not required..."

David Lammy was right in 2020 when he called the jury system fundamental to our constitution. Now the government wants to remove juries from all but the most serious cases. It is dangerous and wrong and the Prime Minister must reverse it.

So defense attorneys elect judges so when they go in front of the judges with their clients they get favorable rulings. That’s how the whole system works down there. And that’s why it’s so corrupt.” 🎯🎯🎯 I filed numerous bills to reform the judicial selection process in SC: requiring on-the-record voting for all judges, banning legislator’s immediate family members or business partners from running as judges, banning secret pledging of judicial votes, banning lawyer-legislators from serving on the JMSC or voting on judges, and more. They never got a hearing—not one. I even walked out of a judicial election along with 3 other colleagues causing a media frenzy when Leadership blatantly broke rules refusing to recognize a request for on-the-record votes. I’m glad this corruption is finally being exposed. But it’s tragic people had to die first.

Imagine going to work every day with Sam Alito. I feel sorry for these judges, the real judges that are on the court. The court is really, really horrible now. Luttig: Every single lower federal court judge has honored his or her oath to the Constitution of the United States to the letter. In almost every instance, those judges collectively have struck down as unconstitutional essentially every initiative of this president, as the Constitution required them to do. So today, the only people who can save America are the lower federal court judges of the United States, and they are determined to do so simply by honoring their oath in every one of these cases. There are hundreds of them. Every single time Donald Trump opens his mouth or takes an action, the American people are forced to go into court and litigate. That’s the tragic place America finds itself in today. I commend the High Court judges who have stood firm in protecting Kenyans from unlawful actions by the Executive, from the Finance Bill to unconstitutional appointments. But we must also confront a difficult truth, when courts become places of hot air instead of justice, public trust is shaken. My commitment is clear, strengthen judicial independence, protect the rule of law, and ensure every court serves the people of Kenya.

When I was in 7th grade I read a book. In the book the author described the forging of a war hammer with such passion that it moved me. I said one day I would forge a war hammer!! He blasts his colleagues on the Court as “brainwashed”. He blasts the judges on the Court of Criminal Appeals as RINOs. He misses over 50% of oral arguments before the Court. He expects he is going to have to rule on election law cases where the Democrats have stolen the election like they did in 2020.
