Caste Correlates with Class. Shows Brahmins have 47% and other upper castes have 45% higher than the National Average household income. ST have -34%. SC have -21% and OBC have -8% compared to National average. 80% of the SC,ST,OBCs are poor. Just 1% of SC,ST,OBCs have income more than Rs 66000/- per month.

Promoting inter-caste marriages is one of the strongest ways to end the caste and reservation divide in the next 50 years. When people marry beyond caste, the barriers slowly dissolve and what remains is just one identity, being Indian. The reservation system today isn’t truly helping those in need; it’s often misused and politicized. Real change will come when we rise above caste and start building families and a nation without these divides.
