When classical pianist Andre Previn did this, he had never met Eric Morecambe before. He just flew in, was told about the scene, and did it. Wonder what he made of it all while it was happening.🤣🤣🤣🤣😭

Apparently he learnt his lines in a black cab on the way from the airport 🛫.

Incredible really, and Morecambe was a stickler for rehearsal.

The best bit was seeing the musicians in the background laughing. It was genius.

That wonderful slapstick humour, where no one took themselves seriously. I loved Eric Morecambe. Such a funny man. So very sadly missed. Along with his simple outlook on humour. Fabulous.

BTW Andre Previn was best known as a jazz pianist.

And now he's best known for being roughed up off Eric🤣🤣🤣

I saw him only once in real life. At Luton town football club, in the players bar. I was about 11. I was so shocked seeing a real life famous person. I gaped at him and he did the glasses thing, where he moved them across his nose. Never forget it.

These two were a class act. I remember this episode 😆
