#FactCheckSyria Hadi is NOT a journalist and he is not credible, he is a disgusting propagandist for the defunct Assad regime. He was even invited to Syria by the Assad regime to do propaganda for it. He made tweets mocking hospitals being bombed in Aleppo. Also in 2016, when Aleppo was being starved and carpet bombed by Assad he went to a university demonstration full of Syrians protesting against this and held up a picture of Assad to terrorize the Syrian students.

Cuba is a communist island about 100km from American territory, a symbol of a decades-long dispute, and a country that confronted the U.S. by financing and arming revolutionary groups in several Latin american countries for many years. A successful invasion of Cuba would end this cycle, giving Trump something his predecessors were unable to achieve. Trump needs this and will carry out the military operation. More than that, it is a card that no one considered at a time when Trump was seen as defeated, without any chance in the elections. Cuba can provide oxygen and a victory narrative for Donald Trump, giving him new life in the midterm elections. Even with further mistakes in a new Iranian operation, closing the cycle of interventions with a victory in Cuba brings a major prize for Trump. The $100 million in aid provided by Trump is part of a plan he is working on to ensure less hostility during a military action. It is not just about reading the military apparatus and the drone and aircraft flights around Cuba that have become routine, but about an entire political juncture that is now connected to this movement.
