She can also inject liquidity. Her $27T balance sheet is much larger than Powells $8T, right? 1. Yellen has just said she's do a $270B Tbill issuance 2. Yellen has a $750B Treasury General Account she can spend to zero, legally to inject liquidity 3. Yellen just announced a $30B buy back program Liquidity is coming, just not from the FED like everyone assumes.
