My Thoughts on “DON’T BE DUMB” I know everyone has been waiting for this, but respectfully, ASAP Rocky needs to rap on some Gyro beats or take care of his kids. Either one is good, but this album is his worst of all time. I know Aubrey Drake Graham is celebrating in his penthouse right now with all the girls laid out next to his snake, on Stake, running up some wanted. But OsamaSon would clear ASAP Rocky in a rap battle. Stick to fashion, Rocky.

🐨 Back in the early days, RM… well, I was still Rap Monster then, right? I tried hard to separate Rap Monster from Kim Namjoon, until at some point I came to realise there wasn’t really any meaning in separating the two. But lately, I think I’ve been trying to separate them again. Because my work is my work. I mean, this might actually sound really naive, but RM & Kim Namjoon aren’t truly the same person. So I’m really trying to think of the two as separate again. To think of music as music & work as simply work. And if any of you ever feel like your work is consuming too much of your life, I think it might be good to remind yourself that it’s just work. In the end, I’ve sort of come back around to that

It's truly a new start. And I think why you felt that energy was because that, I think we actually are treating this moment as our new start. But I think we unconsciously just come back to or coming back to like where we started. Like all those really turned up energy, like very resistant and “I want to show something into the world” type of energy. But I think we got more mature.
