#WATCH | Uttarakhand: A historic moment was witnessed today at the Ganga Barrage when a private company successfully conducted a trial landing of a seaplane. This initiative is being seen as a significant step toward taking air connectivity and tourism in the state to new heights. Under the leadership of CM Pushkar Singh Dhami, the Uttarakhand government has been consistently promoting modern transport infrastructure. It is the result of the Chief Minister’s visionary approach and efforts that the possibility of seaplane services is now becoming a reality in a prominent religious and tourist hub like Rishikesh. The government plans to expand this service in the future to Tehri Lake, Nainital Lake, and other water bodies, positioning Uttarakhand as a leading seaplane destination in the country.

Ever seen a seaplane launch on land? In northern regions, just like a boat, seaplanes come out of the water for winter storage. But a true seaplane doesn’t have wheels, so it can’t simply taxi out to the runway and take off once spring time rolls around. This is one way they can launch. As the truck accelerates, it gives the aircraft airspeed over the wings, which is the basic ingredient every airplane needs to fly. Once the truck hits about 65-70 mph, the wings produce enough lift to fly and the pilot can lift right off the trailer to head back to the water. Pretty cool to watch. Credit: Vonda S. 🎥

This tow truck driver is attempting to repossess a car and the owner and his friends are refusing to get off the car and in fact, they actually use a Friends truck to block the tow truck driver into the driveway.. But as we all know, tow truck drivers were not born yesterday, especially the ones that do repos. And this one has a satisfying ending. 😁

🔥 This is what happens when engineering meets precision. No wasted motion—just pure mechanical power. 🤯 Would you trust this machine to do the heavy lifting? 👇
