Eric Dane has died at age 53. The actor, best known for playing Dr. Mark Sloan on ‘Grey’s Anatomy’, died on Thursday surrounded by by his loved ones, his family shared in a statement to ET. “With heavy hearts, we share that Eric Dane passed on Thursday afternoon following a courageous battle with ALS. He spent his final days surrounded by dear friends, his devoted wife, and his two beautiful daughters, Billie and Georgia, who were the center of his world.” the statement reads. “Throughout his journey with ALS, Eric became a passionate advocate for awareness and research, determined to make a difference for others facing the same fight. He will be deeply missed, and lovingly remembered always. Eric adored his fans and is forever grateful for the outpouring of love and support he’s received. The family has asked for privacy as they navigate this impossible time.” Eric is survived by his daughters —Billie, 15, and Georgia, 14 — and his wife Rebecca Gayheart.

I met with the Prime Minister of Poland, Donald Tusk. We discussed diplomatic contacts with the U.S. side aimed at achieving a dignified peace and Europe’s role in this process, as well as the European Council’s decision to provide Ukraine with financial support of €90 billion for 2026–2027. I am grateful to the Prime Minister and to Poland for their firm support of this decision. We also focused on economic cooperation, joint infrastructure projects, as well as strengthening Ukraine’s combat aviation and defense projects under the SAFE instrument, including joint production of drones and interceptors. We are grateful for the consistent strengthening of Ukraine since the beginning of Russia's full-scale invasion. We feel and appreciate it.
