At Shikhar Shingnapur, water Kavads to perform Abhishekam of Mahadev Shiv ji, in Satara district of Maharashtra. This is the third and most difficult step in "Mungi Ghat" while carrying this kavad uphill and it is a strenuous task, so they call for help from the one they are to perform abhishekam for, calling out as if to a dear one, "Hey Mahadya, come, help me." On Chaitra Shuddha Ram Navami, the kavad procession departs grandly with numerous Shiv devotees, carrying sacred water from the confluence of Karha. At Mungi Ghat, without using any ropes, the devotees form a human chain to cross the challenging path. Shiv devotees wait all day in the scorching sun, chanting the name of Shiva, eager to witness this spectacle. Known for challenging Mahadev with shouts of "Mahadya, come, Mahadya, come," devotees call for the assistance of Mahadev while traversing the difficult path. With Shambhu's grace, they overcome the challenging parts of the ghat, blending devotion and strength. The joy of the devotees knows no bounds.
