This afternoon, I had the pleasure of speaking with a man I respect a lot, the legendary Aloysius Joy Matovu. For 47 years now, he has dedicated his life to Ugandan theatre, touching countless lives through his work as an actor and playwright. His passion for the craft remains as inspiring today as it was when he began his journey in 1979. This weekend, we have a chance to celebrate and support a living legend. Aloysius Matovu and his team will be performing at the National Theatre on Saturday and Sunday, with two shows each day, one at 2:30 PM and another at 7:00 PM. The performances will celebrate mothers and the special place they hold in our lives. If you can, please make time and attend. Let us support our theatre, celebrate our mothers, and show appreciation to one of the people who has dedicated decades of his life to entertaining, educating, and inspiring us. As a lower riparian state, Tamilnadu has always been at the receiving end of all possible backstabbing and injustice, all thanks to the DMK-Congress partnership over so many decades when all possible frameworks were done and dusted. Every existing law, tribunal order etc does not favour TN's rightful claim at any point in time across all the water issues. With the Mekadatu dam issue, Karnataka Congress will keep saying it is within its rights to build the dam since there is no clear stand with the Cauvery Water Management Authority & the Supreme Court judgement on this. Tamilnadu Govt will keep opposing since it is a means to block the water resource. With whatever has been happening, it only seems that the dam will be built. The ridiculous solution offered by Chidambaram in this interview is that Congress should come to power at the centre to solve this issue. He also proudly agrees Congress will behave differently in each state. Dubai and the entire Gulf region have always been incredibly important for our films and for our boss. Cinema is about bringing people together, and the goal is for every fan, whether in India, Dubai, or anywhere in the world, to enjoy the experience without worry. Real fans understand this. Sadly, I'm parting ways with SoaR. It was a huge blessing and an opportunity that I'll always be thankful for! Brand Karnataka or Breakdown Karnataka? Shocking State of Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation This is the current condition of buses in Karnataka KSRTC , and it raises serious concerns about passenger safety and accountability. Just look at the shocking state of maintenance the accelerator is being held in place with a strip of cloth tied inside the bus. The driver’s seat is in an equally alarming condition, crudely fixed with wires instead of being properly repaired or replaced. On top of that, there appears to be liquid leaking from the bus tyre area, which could indicate a serious mechanical issue. These are not minor defects they are clear signs of negligence. Is this what is being promoted as “Brand Karnataka”? Are citizens truly safe while traveling in such buses? Public transport is supposed to be reliable and secure, especially for daily commuters who depend on it. Instead, passengers are being forced to risk their lives every single day. If something unfortunate happens, who will be held responsible? It certainly won’t be the driver, who is forced to operate such poorly maintained vehicles under pressure.
