When Houston's offense gets too perimeter-based (think Jalen Green, Fred VanVleet, Dillon Brooks launching shots), things get wonky. When they play through Alperen Sengun as the hub, the offense flows and the perimeter guys still get good looks. Here's some examples vs MEM.

Anyone who actually gets team basketball can see that this team is at its best when they play through Sengun. It's been obvious all season and last season, too. Eventually, Rockets are going to have to trade for higher level players to back him up because not every prospect is going to work out.

Depends on match ups. I also see the offense humming when it's a five out spaced offense and Green has all the driving lanes in the world.

Whoever doesn't watch Rockets on most games would say this. If you watch rockets though Evrry possession and every game. That just dpends on a night to night basis. Sengun against AD he wasn't able to do anything, Similar to Celtics game, and more thats just recently

The Rockets have realized that Sengun is better facing up in the middle of the court, but in clutch time they revert back to post ups. Need to change.

Actually Jalen and Amen are getting better at facilitating including feeding Alpi. Alpi is getting more opportunities to kick. We’re not there yet but Progress has been made. Jabari being out has been a positive so far.

Houston is a fun team to watch. Lots of unpolished talent. They will be a force in the future.

I've never seen any other #Rockets player consistently draw double + triple teams. Sengun gravity is real. His scoring has dropped due to much more congested paint but his AST numbers should be much higher if HOU offense was more efficient.

Not really. That type of offense only works when the opposing team doesn't have good man to man post defenders. Hence his struggles against OKC,Wemby,Lakers. Jalen Green on the other hand doesn't have anyone in the league that can guard him. Just depends on his offence that night
