This was FOUR years ago. Glenn Beck had never heard of “gender support plans” — I got to educate him on what was secretly happening in government schools everywhere. Fast forward to today: • 15 states now have parental notification laws • the state of California has been FORBIDDEN by SCOTUS from forcing secret transition plans on teachers & families • educators who said “NO” to secretly trans-ing kids are winning lawsuits against their districts • we took a lawsuit all the way to scotus who called it “troubling and tragic” and urged lower courts to handle this ~ AND NOW THEY ARE • hundreds of other parents are speaking out and filing lawsuits • Littlejohn or Foote or Lavigne will likely be decided by scotus This is all going to come crashing down faster than I ever could have hoped for. 💪🏼

TiK ToK was the first single that I put into this world that had my voice AND my name credited!!!! I remember making it fun and happy because that’s how I felt and wanted others to feel. What I’m so proud of is that’s how this song STILL makes me feel, through it all, and those are emotions I want all of us to connect to. 15 (!!!!!!) years later, I see this song as a snapshot into the way I saw the world at the time. Dear Amy, There isn’t a day that goes by that I don’t think of you. I love you more than words could ever say, and I’ve missed having you in my life in ways that are impossible to fully describe. I often wonder how different my life would be if you were still here with us, and I think about all the amazing things you would have done with your life. I miss your laugh, your smile, and the joy you brought into every room you walked into. Most of all, I miss the simple moments—like playing basketball in the driveway—when it was just you and me, laughing and competing like siblings do. David Friedberg: The Eric Swalwell allegations were widely known about by California insiders, but held back for the perfect moment. Was this a hit job to clear the path for a preferred candidate in California? “Back in December, when it was first rumored that Swalwell was going to run for governor, I started making some calls to various folks to be like, ‘Hey, what do we think of this guy? Is he going to be a good candidate?’ I spoke to several people who independently told me that there's knowledge about this guy sending pics to employees, and that this guy has a bunch of stuff that's going to come out about him. And I largely kind of dismissed it, because I was like, if this is true, this would've all come out already. If multiple people are telling me about this, then I've got to assume that it's a rumor that's being used to block him from running for governor. And then everything that I had been told started to come out in the last week. So the striking aspect of all of this for me was how much knowledge there was about these various incidents with the guy, how so many people had this knowledge, and how no one had actually brought the knowledge to bear. Which begs the question, why did they not do what was right by the victims? Or, why did the victims sit on the sidelines waiting for the right moment to all come out together? These were all being held back purposefully and deliberately for a very particular moment in time when they were all brought forward to be used. And that's what was so striking to me is just how coordinated all of this was. My sense of it is that there are certain insiders, and he's not an insider. Olympian Amber Glenn has spoken out about supporting the LGBTQ+ community under the Trump administration. Glenn, who identifies as pansexual, recently announced that she is taking a break from social media following backlash for speaking out against the Trump administration. At a press conference for the Winter Olympics on February 4, Glenn said: "It's been a hard time for the community overall under this administration. It isn't the first time that we've had to come together as a community and try and fight for our human rights." When Trump said Hispanic migrants are “taking Black jobs,” what he really meant was: Black folks are taking white jobs, and we need to get the plantation back in order. I’m from the Deep South—the 50th-ranked state in the country. A state that’s over a third Black, yet run by conservatives who always find a way to blame Black communities for its failures. So, I’m never shocked by statements like these. But I do wonder—do all the folks who like to play nice and pretend everything is fine still feel that way today? We have a choice in how we move forward with each other. Trump should be letting the investigation play out, but he can’t help himself. He’s on a mission to restore what he and Elon see as the natural order: intelligent white men and women in charge—who, in reality, are just mediocre—backed by a handful of others who pledge their loyalty to whiteness. At this point, I just want us to stop pretending. And to the Black folks who never support Black leaders—is this better? The future we want won’t build itself. It’s on us to fight for—now.
