ROSALÍA explained why her new album doesn’t have a more obvious sound, like R&B or rock. “It’s just that, for me, I make music, um, also thinking about what I would like to hear. And I really love classical music, and I thought, maybe there isn’t as much presence of that in my… uh, not as much presence of that kind of music around me as there was when I was in college studying music. So I was like, ‘Hm, I want to, you know, make the effort to listen to more classical music, and why not make an album inspired by that and highlight how amazing this tradition is?’ But yeah, I think every album is an excuse to, um, get closer to things I don’t know, to things I feel I don’t know enough about yet.”

🐶: to me, you're the one and only good hyung i have. i don't know but hyung is someone i treasure but.. since back then whenever we'd clash over small things in the recording studio, as much as i care about this person, strangely it's really hard for me to express it. since you're the eldest hyung who leads the team, i felt like i couldn't say about these things easily. i didn't want the leader and the eldest hyung to know about the trivial things i was worrying or thinking about.
