I agree with you, and Ndlozi sharpens it. The state is not the enemy. Used well, it is what makes a people productive and the shield of those who have nothing. You do not surrender it because a few have run it down. You reclaim it. But that is exactly where the hard question sits. How do we deal with the elements who capture the state and milk it for their own gain, the same failure Ndlozi lays at the ANC's door? Reclaiming the state means little if the next clique can hijack it again. Ownership is not the whole battle. Holding whoever holds it to account is the unfinished work. How do you see us doing that?
