I saw this Instagram reel about Into The Sun and it felt special. If you love the song and you’ve been to an Arirang concert or you’re going to one, you’ll relate. “Hear me out. I’m only making this because I’ve never seen anyone talk about it. Into The Sun at the concert when it’s over as it plays your light sticks turn yellow. And when you leave, it’s like you’re taking little pieces of it with you because it stays yellow. My daughter didn’t even turn hers off. She waited for the batteries to die. When you see something like that it’s special in ways that I don’t think you.. a lot of people understand. If you’re a parent, you’ll get this. If you’re not, you’ll still probably get it. There’s something magical when ‘Into The Sun’ plays at the end of the Arirang concert, and light sticks turn yellow and you see all these little yellow light sticks leaving the concert, it’s like little pieces of it going with them. A lot of people come to me and say, ‘I want to be an entrepreneur.’ And I go, ‘Oh, that’s great, what’s your idea?’ And they say they don’t have one yet. And I say I think you should go get a job as a busboy or something until you find something you’re really passionate about, because it’s a lot of work.” Steve continues: “I’m convinced that about half of what separates the successful entrepreneurs from the non-successful ones is pure perseverance. It is so hard. You pour so much of your life into this thing, and there are such rough moments in time that most people give up. I don’t blame them. It’s really tough, and it consumes your life. I mean, if you’ve got a family and you’re in the early days of a company, I can’t imagine how one could do it. I’m sure it’s been done, but it’s rough because it’s pretty much an 18-hour-a-day job, 7 days a week for a while. So unless you have a lot of passion about this, you’re not going to survive. You’re going to give it up.” He concludes: “You’ve got to have an idea or a problem or a wrong that you want to right that you’re passionate about. A company says one of its employees was detained by federal agents during an immigration court hearing, despite being here legally with a valid work permit. If they can do this to someone who followed the rules, they can do it to anyone.

💬: what’s the hardest to pronounce? 🐰: for me it’s ㄹ (R/L ➡️ in korean both R & L are using the same hangul) 🐰: for ㄹ my tongue is like… (shows it to 42). so when i speak in chinese, i use my tongue a lot for R, so it’s like a habit for me 🐰: so when i speak ㄹ in korean, i say it weakly (not as strong as in chinese). i’m trying, because it’s already a habit for me to say it strongly in chinese 🐰: i have issues every time i’m recording or conversing in korean because of this, but the members really helped me a lot so i think it’s much better than it used to. but i honestly think i’m still lacking a lot at it 🐰: ㄹ… like “oneul” (today), “mokeulgoeyo” (i’ll eat). i still find it hard to sing the song and read the lyrics if the words contain the ㄹ in it
