When I see the average low information voter I sometimes feel Canada is getting what it deserves. Is that bad?

We definitely have a massive percentage of the populous that has literal sub human intellect levels of decision making when it comes to politics. That’s not me calling those people stupid, in any capacity. Canadians just aren’t taught politics, in any capacity growing up, and the little pie charts they have students do boils down to. “What color do you like, fill in the pie!!” We also have narrative controlled news stations, that would never “bite the hand that feeds them” even if it’s for the greater good, like telling the truth.

Sadly I agree with you. You can’t TELL people, they have to experience and find out for themselves. Until then they will deny what’s happening. They will continue to defend the downfall and corruption. Until it personally affects them. Only then change will occur.

Nope - Totally agree. This sounds bad but sometimes it feels like we are a nation of highly educated idiots. Those of us who are actually informed can only try to protect/insulate ourselves…then hope to god they eventually wake up and realize what they’ve signed us up for.

It’s because the “Silent Generation “ taught the Boomer generation that it wasn’t polite to talk about Politics or Religion.. that is where the break down took place and now the generations after that haven’t got a clue.

None of those individuals have ever had to access a food bank in their life. I think though a Majority Liberal government may eventually wake them up as elections always have consequences.
