Flashback Friday I was working feverishly on my debut DeathRow album … I was producing and 2PAC took it upon himself (as a gift) to executive produce and do some writing which I welcomed and loved him for.. I wasn’t insecure I had already sold forty million records at the time and won every award you could think of and sold out stadiums … a real force to be reckoned with (no tongue hustle) This particular song (Too Late Playa) I was producing. I put Danny Boy’s golden voice on the hook (chorus for you lyricist) and already had the legend Big Daddy Kane on a verse and my Homeboy with the slick tongue Nuttso who also is a cold writer. I had my girl Queen do a cameo and I was waiting on 2PAC to lay his verse.This song was meant to continue with the maturing of my brand and to let the other audience in on what we already knew about me. Pumps and A Bump which was aimed at women but brought a lot of dudes out who despite seeing 300 women in bikinis 👙 could only focus on me and Hank (The slugger) much to my surprise. 😂 They was vocal !!! Bless their little hearts.”Too Late Playa” was a continuous of that Playa,party vibe smoothed out.PAC walks in the studio and I say to him,”I’m not talking to you 2nite cause you haven’t put your verse on this yet … he laughed and I didn’t .. Blake Edwards on the conditions he laid out before accepting to direct "A Shot in the Dark" (1964): "'A Shot in the Dark' (1964) is nothing like Marcel Archard’s play, that’s for a start. I was asked to save the situation. They had quite a bit of money involved in this project. Peter Sellers was threatening to pull out because he didn’t like the screenplay. He said that the only way he would continue with the project would be if I took it over. I said that the only way I could possibly take it over, under such emergency conditions, would be that I would not be obliged to do anything like Archard’s play because a) I didn’t like it, b) I thought it was not a motion picture and c) I wasn’t ready to make a movie at that point. So they asked me what I wanted to do because the picture had to start in something like four weeks. I said that if they wanted me to save them, I’d have to take something with which I was familiar to begin with. I was familiar with the character of Clouseau. I needed a detective, somebody to solve a murder. I couldn’t throw the whole thing out. I had to use the idea that the maid was accused of killing the chaffeur and this had to be solved. So I thought that Peter Sellers was just the natural thing and that now I was going to try to be as broad with the character as I could be. “How far can I go now in terms of Inspector Clouseau?” I wrote the screenplay and was on the stage in four weeks with it. Fortunately, it turned out to be a reasonably funny movie. It proved something for me—that if a gag is well-designed you can pull it off." Quinnen Williams says he still believes in Aaron Glenn and the vision for the future of the Jets organization: "The relationship that I have with AG, the relationship I have with Darren [Mougey] is still a great relationship. They knew I was frustrated. I think the world knew I was frustrated, being there so long and still losing. But like I said, any ultra competitor, any guy who plays this game to win is going to be frustrated no matter if you win 100 games or if you lose that one. The relationship has never broken. I still believe in what AG is doing there is going to be great for those guys, and the leadership that he has is going to be great for those guys. Loved my time with the Marvel Tōkon beta! I literally spent the entire time in the lab figuring the game out to see who i really like! Magnus and Black Panther are the two who mix with my style the most! Considering blade for his back assist since it has amazing synergy with Shuri/Magnus! Will figure out who i wanna pick for a full squad once the game officially drops but Mag/BP will be my bread and butter! The one thing I want tweaked a bit for me personally is for the assist to be more responsive in Combos/Offense. It feels like you just can't call assist at will in certain strings...you would have to confirm your hit/block for the assist to properly come out. Besides that...Tokon is MAD FUN and I cant wait to play on the full version with my stream chat and my friends! This is the last thing I found with BP before I had to board on my flight to paris!
