Marc Andreessen just stripped artificial intelligence down to what it’s really made of. Not the algorithms. Not the data centers. The raw material. Andreessen: “They’re literally made out of sand.” The most abundant, most overlooked substance on the planet. You walk on it. Build with it. Wash it off and forget it exists. Someone looked at that and saw a mind. The universe spent 13.8 billion years turning matter into consciousness. Carbon. Water. Amino acids. Eons of chemistry and selection pressure to produce a single thinking brain. We did it with sand. In under a century. Andreessen: “We light it up, and we put AI on it, and all of a sudden it’s thinking.” Biology was the first path matter found to become aware. Silicon is the second. The universe doesn’t care what material consciousness runs on. Only that the pattern is right. We just proved the pattern isn’t biological. Thought was never exclusive to flesh. Flesh was just the first material organized enough to produce it. Andreessen: “We’ve turned sand into thought.” The most profound thing about that sentence isn’t that we taught sand to think. It’s that sand was always able to. Every grain on every beach on Earth carried the capacity for thought. For billions of years. Waiting for something conscious enough to arrange it. The ‘approach drought’ is alive and well everywhere, including on the beach ❌🏖️ Girls go to the beach in skimpy bikinis and sit on the sand for hours hoping to meet a guy. The guys do not appear (anymore). ALL you actually have to do to meet sexy girls in bikinis yourself is: 1️⃣ Go to the beach. I wanted to wait until the con is pretty much over. I reported this to Twitch Staff mid block party immediately, but there were souvenir switchblades available for purchase (or literally grab and walk out with) at one of the shops in the Block Party Gaslamp area. It was a whole collection with different names engraved so anybody could reach and grab it at any height. It was towards the back corner of the shop so you had to walk in and really browse to notice it. The shop itself was also at the very back corner so there was barely anybody browsing it. However when my group all saw this at the same time - we all had the same concerned look without even saying a word. We noticed these the 1st hour of the Party so I immediately wanted to leave.

I’m watching the Theo and Candace interview, obviously since I screwed up my last post. I’m still trying to figure out when it was filmed. I’m thinking last weekend now but I’ll get it nailed down. Anyway, she says the YouTube was her YouTube account in the Theo interview. So why did she post on YouTube the account was not affiliated with her? I don’t think she meant to tell anyone it was her account. Watch her catch herself and then realize it was too late and she had said it. Why did she say the YouTube account was not hers and it was a hacked account or someone hacked an old account and uploaded a video to it on her podcast the other night? Candace why ya always lying? We know it is all true. No one’s going to use your name and your birthday to make lesbian accounts from your college, back when YOU were at the college using the IP ADDRESS. Why not just have said it was a college YouTube account for you to give a video to a professor? Instead you did a comment saying it wasn’t yours on the account and took down the video. Stupid the internet is forever.

This was moments before we walked out for Katie’s pro debut in 2016. At the time, we had no idea where the next ten years would take us. We were just focused on that night and the work in front of us. And then somehow, you blink and it’s over. That’s something I hope young fighters understand. Wherever you are in your career right now, it won’t last forever. The years that seem endless while you’re living them will eventually feel like they passed in an instant. So give it everything you have. Train hard. Make the sacrifices. Chase whatever it is you’re chasing. But try to enjoy it too. That part isn’t always easy when you’re deep in the grind. There’s always another fight, another camp, another problem to solve. You’re so focused on what’s next that you don’t always appreciate where you are. Someday, you’ll wish you could have one of those days back. It goes fast. Make it count

I have not seen enough about the decision from Mike Vrabel and Tim Kelly to go for 2 down by 8 last night. Here’s why I loved it: 1) NFL teams this season have been successful on 55% of two-point conversion attempts. The odds were in the Titans’ favor. 2) Will Levis was dealing in the 2nd half. 3) Titans still had all three timeouts and the two-minute warning. 4) Miami struggled to move the ball on offense all night. Their three scoring drives went for 12, 7, and 59 yards. 5) If successful on the two-point conversion, a stop on defense and a TD wins the game. If unsuccessful, you can still send it to OT. 6) Titans offense marched down the field, scored the TD to make it a one possession game and essentially told Miami, “we are going for two because we know you cannot stop us right now.” The odds are in your favor. It’s a good mathematical decision. You want to psych out an opposing offense? Give them the ball knowing they need to run the clock out, or you are going to have a chance to WIN the game, not send it to overtime. They saw what your offense just did to their defense. They saw your QB on the sideline screaming and hyping everyone up. Cutting the lead to six put WAY more pressure on the Dolphins offense. You want to hype up your defense? Put them back on the field knowing your offense just did their job. Put them back on the field knowing a stop and a TD wins it. At that point, they aren’t in the mindset of “we need a stop to have a chance to go to OT.” They are thinking, “let’s go out here, get a stop, and give our offense a chance to WIN.” There’s a fundamental difference in playing to WIN and playing NOT to LOSE. This was a decision by a coaching staff that was playing to WIN. Brilliant game by Vrabel and Kelly. Brilliant execution late in the game by the offense and the defense. Completely out-coached one of the best offensive minds in the game. #Titans

I went to Universal Soul Circus last night. Brought back so many memories. But I can’t help it. I noticed the take over. Lots of Caribbean, Latin and African heritage being promoted in the performance. Not enough soul in the performance…..like it was when I was a kid. I play volleyball and do long jump in New Richmond, Wisconsin. When my school let a biological male into the girls' restroom without telling parents, I went to my school board — with my name on it. I got harassed for it. That wasn't a vendetta. It was a girl asking the adults to do their jobs. You didn't stay to ask the athletes a single question. This is quite funny. We're visiting Kamakura in Japan and we came across a large group of Chinese tourists in a place that, at first glance, looked nothing special. Turns out that this very spot is one of THE most iconic locations in Japan for Chinese people who grew up in the 1990s. Why? Apparently this place is so popular with Chinese tourists that they had to cordon it off at some point. Now it's obviously reopened with 3 guards assigned to handle the traffic. And now that they've heard about it, it's my daughters' turn to be hooked on the series so maybe in 20 years' time they'll be perpetuating the passion and come back to this "Slam Dunk" shrine ☺️

This is quite funny. We're visiting Kamakura in Japan and we came across a large group of Chinese tourists in a place that, at first glance, looked nothing special. Turns out that this very spot is one of THE most iconic locations in Japan for Chinese people who grew up in the 1990s. Why? Let me explain how this is going to work, libs. I remember fondly when I got called into the HR office at my job and was let go for harmless memes and dunking on you. Never threatened violence, none of that BS. But you did it anyway. Eventually, 3 years later they called me back, and hired me again with a generous pay bump because they knew they fcked up. I'm playing the game you all started. It just so happens I'm better at it than you. I also remember when your people shot down that dude in Portland, Oregon, and when they took a shot at the dude I voted for, and k*lled Corey Comperatore. And now Charlie. And now you all wanna cry because I'm returning the favor? Nah. You're gonna find out exactly who and what I am. This time you can't cancel me. 🤷‍♂️
