When I was White House communications director, Stephen Colbert was making cartoons of me every night. He called me a Jersey Shore cast member, Tony Soprano on the Potomac. He was taking a can opener to my forehead for eleven days straight. After I got blasted out of the...

On the 13th of Sept, someone transferred 180k for an iPhone Xs 256GB. After acknowledging his receipt, he called, and I told him we don't have it but will ask colleagues and let him know. I asked my friend, and he told me 190k. I begged him to leave it at 180k because that is what the guy deposited (check frame 2 for reference). When he sent the phone from Kano to Jos, then I noticed it was an Xs Max. Seeing that the guy was in a hurry and didn't want to disappoint, I called him and told him what happened and said if he wants the Max, he can take it at no additional cost. I was willing to settle the difference because it was his first time buying from us. I packaged it with a new premium charger because all our used phones are sent packaged in our branded box with a charger, and I sent it to him in Abuja. He later messaged that he has received the phone and truly appreciates it. After months of not receiving any complaints from him, it clearly indicates that he has received a fully functioning phone. It is in our policy that if you find anything faulty within one week, you can return it to us and either ask for a replacement or refund. What this means is that the cost of bringing it from Kano to Jos, the packaging and charger, and the delivery to Abuja are all a loss to me. But I didn't mind because at least I have satisfied him. Nine weeks later, while I was in Kano, I saw a call from an unknown number. When I picked up, he said it was him. He told me that the camera has started giving him problems. I told him it has been months since you bought it, but you can take it to any repair store and tell me how much you spent, and I will pay. He asked if I know anyone, and I sent him someone's number. The guy didn't pick; he texted and informed me and later called me. I told him to go to anyone he trusts and let me know the amount he spent. A few days later, I was stranded between Kaduna and Abuja on my trip from Kano to Abuja because my car engine failed. He called, and I didn't pick; I don't even know his number. Later in the night, I received his messages on WhatsApp with a threat that he will make a video to tarnish the image of my business. Someone I was willing to help after months of buying a USED device from me is threatening me. I said he should go ahead because I can't entertain him anymore. In conclusion, a trade that I incurred a loss from is what some people are trying to justify as a scam. The beautiful part is I have made trades with hundreds of people here, and I would love two more people to come out and present a case in which they are still using a device I sold to them that is faulty and they contacted me for a replacement or refund, and I didn't do it instantly. "The hypocrite will always look for faults" - Ghazali. Those that are looking for a fault in me can justify something as woke as this; it doesn't matter. This is my own side and will no longer entertain him anymore. For those that believe in me without hearing from me, thank you so much.

This man was criticized for expecting a “thank you” for a good deed. He always saw the same man walking when he drove to work. He assumed the man was walking because he did not have any other means of transportation. He used his own money and bought the man an electric scooter, the man took the scooter and just silently walked away, no thank you or anything else at all. I don’t think that was too much to ask, a thank you goes a long way, otherwise it makes people look ungrateful. Back in college, I had a classmate that I always saw walking home after class. It didn’t matter whether it was raining or snowing, or hot out. Whenever I drove past him he always looked miserable and I could tell he didn’t like to walk all the time. In class I had asked him where he lived, and I found out it was on my way home so I offered to drop him off because it was really cold out and had snowed about a foot. He agreed and we chatted on the way home, nothing serious just pleasant conversation. I dropped him off and went on my way home. For me this was a one time thing, I only offered because how bad it was snowing. After class the next day, he walked with me and when I got to my car he got in. I didn’t agree or offer him a ride that day but he assumed that since I was ok with giving him a ride the day prior that I would be ok with it this day too. I didn’t say anything about it because at this point I didn’t care really. So the next day came and went, once again he walked with me to the car but that day was different. I wouldn’t be going his way because I had to work after class. So before I got to the car I said “I’ll see you tomorrow.” He looked dumbfounded and said aren’t you taking me home? I said no, I have to get to work. He then asked me how he would get home, and I told him the same way you always have. He then gave me excuses for why I was being a jerk because I was making him walk in the cold. I didn’t argue I just told him I helped him out when I could, but I wasn’t about to go out of my way because he didn’t have a car and besides I didn’t want to be late for work. He didn’t speak to me for the rest of the semester because of it, something tells me I was better off not offering to help in the first place.

Here is the actual GOP candidate for President of the United States attempting to say something about Mark Zuckerberg which is literally all I can figure out from this 90-SECOND LONG SENTENCE. 😵‍💫 “So Mark Zuckerberg called me first of all he called me a few times she called me after the event that he said that was really amazing it was very brave and you know and he actually announced he's not going to support a Democrat because he can't because he respected me for what I did that day I think what I did maybe was a norm to me it was a normal response but I was called by Mark Zuckerberg yesterday the day before on this same subject and he actually apologized he said they made a mistake etc etc in the correcting mistake a Google nobody called from Google one of the things I do in a show like yours you you show you know you see them Fox but what you really see it is all over the place they take clips of your show that you're doing right now with me and if I do a good job they're going to vote for me they're going to vote for me because it's not just on Fox it's on Fox is a smaller part of it you're on all over this those little beautiful cell phones you're on you're all over the place you have a product you have a great product you have a great brand so you have to get out you have to get out you have to do things like your show and other shows and Google has been very bad they've been very irresponsible and I have a feeling that Google isn't going to be close to shut down because I don't think Congress is going to take it I really don't think so Google has to be careful now I will say this I believe Mark Zuckerberg he called me so he called me a lot they are working and I think they fixed it but what can he's not doing what he did four years ago with the five hundred million dollars I don't believe.”

The main thought I want to express toward Charlie and the Kirk family right now is gratitude. The last time I saw Charlie in person was a couple of weeks ago at headquarters. At the time, I was on the phone with a client. Unable to talk, I said hello with my eyes, widening them a bit in his direction, he nodded and slapped me on the back as I walked past. I wished I was able to say “thank you.” I was never able to thank Charlie for everything he did for me before he was called home to God. I first met Charlie in 2017 at Politicon in Pasadena. Less than a year later I would be working out of his headquarters that was in the midst of construction as a digital contractor. I’ve got to participate in a lot of cool things because of Charlie, from helping TPUSA put together Black Leadership Summits at the White House to helping manage his Chase The Vote program. Whenever Charlie saw me he would go out of his way to acknowledge me, he’s thanked me for serving on his projects countless times. I should have been the one thanking him. My career took off when I moved to Arizona to be a part of his operation. I ended up meeting my wife in Arizona. Not many people know but when Project Veritas imploded and I faced uncertainty after resigning to stand by O’Keefe, Charlie paid my salary for 3 pay periods. When I guest hosted a show on OANN last year, Charlie was one the first big name guest to agree to give me interview. In that episode, he spoke about me in a manner that I should have been speaking about him. He was the best among us, and that’s why God called him home. Before I allow my grief and celebration of Charlie’s life to transform into anger and action. I wanted to very publicly say thank you to Charlie. It was an honor to have known you and called you a friend, and for you to have called me a “patriot.” Thank you for sharing your faith with us and for leaving behind so much of your wisdom to digest. Your death will not be in vain.

Jules Dassin on how "Night and the City" (1950) was made during the peak of HUAC hearings: "Dassin: After HUAC was in full cry, I went to Darryl and said, "I know you don't like the blacklist. Do you want to break it?" He said, "Yes, I do." I said, "I want you to buy a book called The Journey of Simon McKeever, written by Albert Maltz." "Albert f***ing Maltz!" "John Huston is ready to do the screenplay. Walter Huston is ready to play the leading role. It's the story of a guy who has arthritis and hitchhikes from San Francisco to Los Angeles to find a doctor and has adventures on the way." He said, "All right, we'll do it. But tell nobody. Tell nobody" I said, "Well, some people have to know." He said, "I'll take care of the studio. You take care of Maltz." I called Maltz and said, "Albert, I've got twenty-five thousand dollars for you, but you mustn't say a word," because Zanuck's plan was for me to take a skeleton crew and start in San Francisco-all childish Boy Scout tricks-and by the time we reached Los Angeles it would be too late to stop the film. I told this to Albert, but the next day there was a headline in the Hollywood Reporter: "Albert Maltz Declares the Blacklist Is Broken." [Laughs.] And that was the end. Zanuck was angry. Interviewer: Angry with you? Dassin: No. He protected me as much as he could, but when all of New York descended-with [Spyros] Skouras swearing at me and saying, "I'm going to step on your neck!" and things like that-Darryl said, "The kid didn't quite tell me." I forgave him all that. He did something, the same night, I think it was. He came to my house, and coming to my house was like visiting the tenements, because I lived on the wrong side of town. He said, "Get out. Get out fast. Here's a book. You're going to London. Get a screenplay as fast as you can and start shooting the most expensive scenes. Then they might let you finish it." That was 'Night and the City' (1950). I really respected the guy. He did something else that touched me so. We were getting very close to shooting time, when he called me and said, "You owe me one." I said, "Yes, I do." He said, "I want you to write in a part for Gene Tierney." I said, "She's a star. What do you mean 'write in' a part?" He said, "This girl has just had un grand chagrin d' amour" -a big deception in love-"and is su!c!dal. I know her. She'll go to work, and it'll save her." This from Zanuck, the guy who is known for being so ... so tough, so heartless. We wrote in a part for her. Darryl sent me a one-word telegram: "Thanks." That was the unknown Zanuck." ("Tender Comrades: A Backstory of the Hollywood Blacklist", Patrick McGilligan & Paul Buhle, 1997) P.S: On this day, 76 years ago, "Night and the City" (1950) premiered in New York City, USA.

Lady shares a story of how she caught her boyfriend cheating on her with a single mother of two🤯😳 “I caught my boyfriend cheating on me yesterday. My boyfriend stays in an apartment, a flat and there is a flat opposite his own. So anytime I get to his place it’s either I see him coming out from the house or when I get in he tells me he’s coming he wants to check something at the other flat, so one day I was like is it that you don’t enjoy playing your PS because he has PS in his place or you like playing your neighbor’s PS cause I was assuming it was a ‘he’. He was no o,is not a man that it’s a lady, I now ask him so what is he always going there to do and he said he’s helping her to do something because she’s a single mother of two and I was okay with it assuming that she might be needing some extra hands. So yesterday I went there, I got to his apartment and I was knocking but there was no response and I don’t like barging into someone’s house no matter how close we are so I turned and was going back then I had the door open like someone was coming out then I went back, he apologized then I entered like 10minutes later he said he’s coming that he wants to do something at his neighbors place. I waited for like 20minutes and I was already getting p!ssed but he came him and carried garri then I asked him where he was taking it to, he said his neighbor made soup and forgot she doesn’t have garri, I said okay and jokingly said hope your neighbor knows how to cook because I will eat o but he just laughed about it and left. After 40mins he wasn’t back then I got p!ssed and packed my things about to leave his place because he hasn’t given any attention since I got to his place with the mind that he will just call and apologize. When I got outside something in my mind told me to go back and just barge in to his neighbor’s house and I did, that was how I saw my boyfriend rapped around his neighbor’s arm with plate on the table in front of them. I was shocked” — Lady
