When ironmouse🇵🇷😈💖 talked about how no one ever wanted to work with her or stream with her when she was in the 5-50 viewer range on stream. I felt that... That is my range and often my attempts to have people on my show are rejected or ignored simply... show more

I appreciate the sentiment and I understand what you are trying to say but this is taken out of context a bit. I was talking about incidents that happened in vrchat with people following me around and saying things that made me uncomfortable. But yeah i have spoken about this issue before and it sucks sorry you are dealing with that its never fun and it hurts.

Ope. My bad Iron Mouse. I did not mean to take your clip out of context. Also I usually never get more then 20 views on something so I was not expecting nor prepared for all these comments and reposts 🥲 Forgive me Ima tiny newer vtuber.

@ironmouse Me just floating around the 10 viewer average. I'm literally thinking, "do I even want to try and collab with people? Will they think I'm just trying to use them to grow...?" When that isn't the case T_T.

@ironmouse Omg this is so real

I hear you and relate to you very much, dear. I am but a small vtuber with 1k following and 5-30 viewers avg. I run a radio show called Sczhae Rasio to spotlight vtubers and vsingers, chichat about their journey, and give them opportunity to promote themselves. However, 90% of the time I get rejected, left hanging, left on read esp by vtubers who has bigger numbers and viewership than me. Although there are occassional bigger ones who are down to earth, humble, and nice who would come on the show and would bring nothing but positive vibes, fun times, and good memories! I understand others who may not want to collaborate bec I am a stranger, was never on their radar before I reached out to invite them and that the show may not bring them huge number of new supporters but to straight up ignore a polite invitation without declining politely like a proper human being is just really sad. Focusing on numbers instead of genuine interaction is dehumanizing to say the least.

@ironmouse Oh my gosh this has been my experience also!!! I have had people of all sizes on. It always been a wonderful time.

Unfortunately, it’s true. Social climbers only care about you if they think they can gain something, and the content-creation/streaming space has more than a few of its fair share I often hesitate to reach out to creators I genuinely feel I'd vibe with, because so many of us have been burned by trusting the wrong people - and the last thing I’d ever want is to come off that way myself However, as smaller creators we do need to keep in mind that the higher up people are in terms of popularity, the more their finances - and even safety - depend on who they let close. Trusting the wrong person can cost you everything, so the caution is understandable It can definitely sting when you get snubbed by someone you look up to, but no one owes us opportunities, y'know?

@ironmouse keep at it, little by little you'll make traction. If anything just need some larger streamers raiding the small ones or bringing them on. Make the community more about "So what if numbers are small, I like this person's vibe."

@ironmouse I get why but...its not fair on anyone. Lately im just grateful to be invited for anything I wanna make memories and fun

@ironmouse felt .. this is why i became even more of a recluse. and also because i know at times my chronic illness can flare up and cause me to cancel, which makes me feel embarrassed to collaborate or reach out. it’s harder than it seems to find genuine ppl in this space sometimes.
