Not only is it a kick in the teeth to have received the judge's decision, but the family has also been ordered to pay for the court costs for the other side as well as their own! The Duggans are already in $1 million debt, they barely scrape enough money together to pay for petrol and feed the family. They were denied legal aid, and no Australian charges have been laid against Dan. The Duggans will keep fighting for Dan to come home. He taught a few sessions in a 1960s aircraft. No-one else has been prosecuted or charged. He has been locked up for over 3 years in a maximum security prison. Why is the Australian government agreeing to send an Australian citizen to a foreign country to defend himself on allegations that weren’t a crime in his home country? Friday's Federal Court hearing contained an extraordinary statement from government lawyers that should have all Australia's worried. #NotMyAustralia ABC reports that lawyers for Australian citizen and father of six #FreeDanDuggan told the Federal Court the extradition should be void because the alleged action was not a crime in Australia at the time. Saffrine has been trying to keep the family afloat on one part-time wage. The constant barrage of day to day bills, on top of outside costs of visiting Dan and keeping in contact with him in jail. The family was not offered legal aid, so they have had to source and pay for their own legal. Not to mention the costs to repair damage vandals continue to make on their seized south coast home. With Christmas right around the corner, the family’s thoughts should be what is Santa going to bring me? Rather than, will I get to see my Dad? Or how am I going to pay for all this? Britain should look at cutting aid to Pakistan until it upholds the rule of law, the former brother-in-law of jailed Imran Khan has told the Government. Speaking at Westminster, Lord Goldsmith, who previously served as a foreign minister, said: “I think anyone who is paying attention understands that Imran Khan has been denied access to lawyers and to his family, including his two sons, who are my nephews. “He has been denied access even to doctors. “We understand that he has spent much of his time in prison in solitary confinement and his health is deteriorating rapidly.” He added: “Does the minister agree that now is the time for us to reconsider our aid contributions to Pakistan – Pakistan is often at the top of the list of recipients of UK aid – until that country’s Government demonstrate a clear, unambiguous commitment to the Commonwealth Charter that it signed up to, which commits it to an independent judiciary and the rule of law?”

The farmer is seeking over ₹3,500 crore in compensation for pending rent, interest on it and cost of land. 53-year-old Ashwini Bandhe claims that more than 30 acres on which the terminal has been built and a garden created are his ancestral land. His claim is that back in 1942 the pre-Independence British administration has taken it temporarily to build an airfield. The land, he alleges was never returned and neither was the family paid rent for it. Bandhe has been been fighting a battle in courts for more than 30 years, armed with with government records and family papers.
