When it comes to the Big-Not-So-Beautiful Bill, I’m asking one simple question: Will the deficit be higher or lower next year? The answer is clear: higher. That’s why I’m voting no, and I urge my colleagues to ask themselves the same question before they vote.

I'm asking you one simple question @SenRandPaul: How are you going to stop a massive tax increase without this bill? Be realistic and lay out an alternate course.

Don’t talk to us about the deficit, when @DOGE showed us all how much you all like to launder. The deficit is a lie we all know it. You know what is wasteful? Your salaries and vacations you all take for half of the year…..

How many debt ceiling increases and NGO, USAID, foreign funding bills have you voted yes on in your time in Congress?

Please provide an alternative. Please present your balanced budget proposal, with no new taxes. Maybe even work with Thomas on it. @RepThomasMassie Thank you.

You gave the American people $36 trillion in debt and record inflation, but you will not let the President we voted for execute his plans.

How is that clear?? You NEVER mention tariff offsets (because you don't like them) or how much is saved by getting all of these illegals out of our country and off of our services. @SecScottBessent IS A GENIUS IN ECONOMICS and you are so arrogant to actually think we should believe your assessment over him. So arrogant

This is not Trump's budget but he's using this reconciliation bill to put in the MAGA agenda we mandated, and it cuts $1.6 trillion and raising the debt ceiling is not adding to the deficit, and by not passing this bill would mean the biggest tax increase in history, but you want to appear to be right more than you care about the people, and we won't forget it.

Senator, you made promises that you would uncover and prosecute Fauci, Covid-19 origins, Vaccines, also, was against tariffs, etc. then nothing happens, no changes. All fluff and no substance. Now you have moved to the Big-Beautiful-Bill. Very disappointing.
