XPENG founder and CEO He Xiaopeng announced that they will release a new generation of humanoid robots next month, introducing a new AI system, VLT, combined with five other systems, including VLA/VLM. The goal is to transition humanoid robots from remote-controlled to fully autonomous. Their second-generation humanoid robot, Iron, released last year, is already undergoing trial operations at the XPENG factory in Guangzhou and serving as a shopping guide in the flagship store. It's worth noting that Tesla plans to release the Optimus V3 by the end of the year.

Following SAXON’s June announcement with regards to Biff’s emergency procedure we would like to share with you a special message from Biff for fans as to his ongoing recovery from cancer and all he has been going through since his recent diagnosis following the band’s Japanese tour in late April. Biff also discusses the postponement of SAXON’s imminent French and Spanish shows until April and May of next year while he undergoes a short period of chemotherapy but has been told by doctors that his prognosis going forward is positive. All tickets will remain valid for the new rescheduled dates which will be announced on SAXON’s socials imminently. Sadly, Biff’s treatment also impacts on the band’s forthcoming festival performances at both Trutnoff Open Air, with the band’s appearance later this month having to be cancelled, and Neuborn Open Air, also later this month, now postponed until the festival’s 2026 edition. Today is Norooz, the Persian New Year. This clip is from the last normal Iranian Norooz in 1979. The Great Shah of Iran, HIH Mohammad Reza Pahlavi and HIH Queen Farah Pahlavi sent what would be their final Norooz well wishes. It was the last time Iranians freely celebrated Norooz, bringing artists on stage and dancing. The regime took that away from us for 47 years. Baseten CEO Tuhin Srivastava tells Altimeter's Apoorv Agrawal that one of Baseten's cloud providers has already indicated their B200 prices ($/GPU hour) are set to double when existing contracts expire and are up for renewal later this year. "If you go out right now saying you want a thousand GPUs, truly.. people are talking about Q2 of next year. So 12 months out, maybe 15 months out. We have a cluster.. in one of these clouds.. of B200s.. Our unit price right now is $2.63 an hour.. that's up for renewal in October. They came to us already in May and said $5.10 is the new price.. So double."

Lina and Sophie had the hardest imaginable first year on this planet but oh how their lives have changed for the better... Since they were born a year ago… 🇹🇭 Lived on the streets in Thailand 🐕 Grew up as puppies on a construction site 🪨 Had people throw rocks at them to chase them away 🦠 We were given 24 hours to rescue them or they would be poisoned 🤒 Shortly after rescuing them they got Parvo. They lost their little brother but they both survived. It was touch and go for 2 whole weeks on a drip in the vets 😳 They were in quarantine for another 4 weeks and become utterly terrified of all humans 📆 After months of slowly training and meeting their new owners who came to visit they slowly came out of their shells. ✈️ Their next challenge was their flight to England to their forever homes. These 2 girls have overcome all that in just 1 year and look at them now. They are still slowly settling in and decompressing but look at their happy little faces. Lina and Sophie are both fully home 🏡

That facility will come online next year. When it does, it’ll produce about 300 million flies per week, in addition to the 100 million from Panama, and then we outfitted an additional Mexican facility. We will get back to the point where we're able to push it back and eradicate it. But until that point, which is likely some time next year, we had FDA fast track a lot of treatment. We’ve got a national veterinary supply stockpile that was loaded onto a plane this morning, is headed to South Texas right now.

When Walmart security caught an AA employee taking money from the register and putting it in her pocket, management immediately called the police.
