I have seen this match live on TV,Kapil warned him a couple of times not to leave the crease before the ball was bowled. Kirsten wasn’t listening, so Kapil took the bails off to get him out. I think Kapil was also injured in this match on the knees, if I remember correctly. I was 13 that time ❤️

Some SA cricketer then 'accidentally' hit Kapil Dev in this match. Kapil Dev had serious courage. Back then the world was different. Racism was real, and India had no money.

Kapil warned them both, not to cross the line twice maybe thrice but they both Wessels/ Kirsten did not listen to him that's why he got angry at Kirsten. I saw this & I guess this was the first instance of Mankad 😂😄 on international tournaments.

Today you cannot behave like this with India. Opponents will get it in the same coin.
