The power elite and their propaganda media claim to be protectors of “democracy.” But when their leadership is questioned or they’re criticized, they quickly label it as “disinformation,” “unpatriotic” or “treasonous” — i.e. they consider criticism of themselves as being criticism of our country, and therefore they need to “protect” our country by prohibiting criticisms of themselves. What I always notice with politicians is that they can talk comprehensively as to why the ANC and MKP are not right for the country. But when it comes to the EFF, they really have no comprehensive explanation as to what is wrong with it. Hence they can't explain why they left it.
