When Lisandro Martinez is back, just put him in midfield. I seriously can’t be watching Ugarte pass backwards 90% of the time, while Bruno plays spam ball, gifting the opposition possession. There’s no in between with our options, absolute extremists.

This is what Bruno is talking about btw Yoro is supposed to press, forcing a pass backwards to Rodri and you can see Bruno ready to ‘jump’. Yoro backs off, our lines are broken and City have time to progress the ball and switch the play. The opposition move our players around like pawn pieces when our plan A doesn’t work. Plan A is the CB stepping out to support double pivot, that’s the safety net there’s nothing else. It’s poor!

This is not offense down the stretch. 1st clip - Last possession in regulation for Wake. Juke Harris isolation at the top of the key with no ball screen and no off ball movement 2nd clip - Sebastian Akins and Myles Colvin take the shot clock down to about 10 seconds left and just pass the ball back and forth a couple times. I repeat, THIS IS NOT OFFENSE. This especially cannot be your offense in crunch time.

The ball contacting the ground does not unequivocally determine if a pass should be ruled complete or not. However, when loss of possession occurs as the ball contacts the ground, the ground is essentially aiding the receiver in the process of the catch. In #ALAvsUGA, I believe that the receiver did not maintain possession of the ball as it contacted the ground and would’ve liked to see this play reviewed.

Motherwell In Possession I've been so impressed by Motherwell's performance and style this season. After watching back their 5-0 win from Saturday, I noticed a few key themes/principles of their play in possession: • Principle 1 - attackers occupy the spaces between FBs & CBs. This keeps opposition FBs pinned back and allows for moments to exploit opposition miscommunication. • Principle 2 - the "tapered box" in deep build-up: 2 CBs with wide positioning; 2 CMs with narrow positioning. Allows M'Well to comfortably progress the ball forward using diagonal & bounce passes. Attracts pressure from St Mirren, creating lots of space between defence & midfield to exploit. • Principle 3 - the use of 1-touch play to change the tempo. 1-touch passing disoriented St Mirren at times and didn't allow them to get appropriate pressure on the ball. It was also evident, especially on the left, that only 1 player needs to hold width (Longelo), Slattery was given a licence to roam inside and create overloads in the midfield, making it difficult for the St Mirren midfield. I genuinely believe if they had a proper goalscorer in the 1st part of the season M'well would have been top of the league as they have consistently been the best side.

There’s serious outbreak of fight in Kano between NNPP supporters and APC supporters. I just pray this doesn’t degenerate into something deadly, the NNPP won clearly in Kano, why can’t the APC and Ganduje accept defeat in peace. Why are our politicians so wicked!!!!
