No matter how easy AI eventually makes things, there will always be skill in strategizing how best to use it. It becomes an art form, where you have a lot of options to achieve results with varying levels of control. There are tricks to break them, tricks to get better answers, knowledge of which models are better at solving which problems, knowledge of how to set up agentic systems that automate a pipeline, knowledge about training the AI, which loras to use, what settings to use, knowing when to inpaint or when to prompt better, knowledge of making tools for the AI to use, etc... Its actually not easy to learn it all. Some people are way better at getting good results than others.

My major was in Prompt Engineering for meme purposes ...this requires a lot of skill son.

AI is getting out of hand. Companies are now mandating devs go to a week long "Prompt Engineering" training. They teach how to properly query AI, and how to install the AI plugin in your IDE. Afterwards they periodically scan your computer to verify you are using the plugin. 😭
