When Marvel was doing REALLY wild things!

Before these cry babies were born and raised to think the world caters to them.

loooooooooooooooooooool

Written by David S. Goyer (Man of Steel, Batman v Superman, The Dark Knight, ...) V..V

This was New Line Cinema. Marvel studios didn’t exist~

Still one of the best movies ever made

This will never be topped for the opening of a horror-action film. As a vampire fan in the nineties, this scene is burned in my mind and lives rent free. The imagery, the music, the pacing, all masterful.

They introduced the villain without saying a word or action. Like he was just an ordinary dude but he was one bad mf.

First techno song I ever cared about

This SAVED MARVEL… if there was no blade it would be NO AVENGERS lol

El único Blade!!

This is Marvel before Disney.

Always been an interesting detail

Blade will always be a classic. And Blade II was even better, let’s not talk about the third one though.

I never liked the 3rd one, but the first 2 were great.

The now forgotten lesson from 90s comic book movies was to make them so people could enjoy them without ever knowing they're based on a comic book. The Mask is another good example. Today they're not bad, but so formulaic and self-conscious that people have lost interest.

I saw this in the theater.

Great movie, we need to go back to simpler times, and putting rock or electronic music into every action movie.

Me before blade come in and kill everybody

Blade used to be so cool to me growing up as a kid, looking back this just looks demonic & ritualistic

Whoever cast Traci Lords has balls made of steel. 🔥🔥🔥

Was that Traci Lords?

Whyd you cut it at the best part??? Tf

People asking for the full clip, GO WATCH THE MOVIE! I CAN'T POST IT HERE

Still one of the best Marvel films!

I thought Traci Lords made one hell of a vampire!

nothing like Blade has been made ever since, too. Wesley Snipes is Marvel's GOAT

@Jackaluichi We can't include this film and even Blade II into the whole "Marvel" category even though IT IS the film that saved Marvel Its a Wesley Snipes Action movie first

Only one of the greatest opening scenes in cinema history. 😎🪩

I like how Frost just kind Of causally walks right by him and he has no idea.

I remember trying to get into the theater at 16 trying to see this and getting caught 3 times. Never in my life had I been caught once much less 3 times. My dad ended up taking me and when we left he said “that was actually pretty good” I stood tall for a week.

Before Disney show up
