my cat does the same thing at evening feeding time. if I don't pay attention he starts pawing my laptop screen & if that doesn't work he'll go over to my water glass with a straw & start messing with the straw, or knock something off the table. but I love the little twerp!

it's wild their routine how spot on it is. at 7:30-8 am my pups wait for me to make any sudden movement so we can start our day. walk them, then go back to sleep, in a few hours they're doing the same thing but for the meal and then their noon walk 😂

My father's dog was like this. I came home from school, put her on a leash, and took her for a walk. The next day, did the same. Day 3 - she was at the door, waiting for me when I got home. I had to answer nature's call, and the dog was "hurry up! walkies!!!"

I nicknamed my dog before he passed, Rolex. The boy was on time with everything. Sent by god, not here for long, spend all the moments you can with them. The hole they leave in your heart and life is unfillable.
