A lot of great feedback on this! Tony Bennett retiring is "the day the music (of values based major college sports) died." Could have been avoided if the decision makers (school/NCAA admins) were leaders & sacrificed some power by establishing guardrails and bargaining.

Unfortunately, college presidents/chancellors/ADs in concert w/ the NCAA, as well as overly empowering conference commissioners, kicked the can down the road for decades, and didn’t want to proactively address the issues Carla cited. Attempting to hang on to an outdated model.

I have the utmost respect for Carla, but they can fix this without government and without the NCAA. Admit they are employees and collectively bargain. Do it as a league, or do it as a group of leagues. Every beef about NIL and portals can be solved.

No one wants to say it but it is time for Carla Williams to go. She has overstayed her welcome. She has done next to nothing for this program and has pushed out two of the best coaches we’ve seen with Bennett and Mendenhall. CARLA MUST GO TO MOVE FORWARD

No matter your sexuality or how you identify, it’s hard to imagine anyone watching Carla and Lisa tonight on #Corrie and not feeling something or being moved. What we saw wasn’t just history being made, which is so important for people to feel seen and heard. It was a reminder of the kind of love people hope for. The kind that feels like once in a lifetime, However that looks in your own life, there’s something in their story that resonates across every walk of life. Also for us who’ve followed Carla’s journey over the years, this felt special and meaningful, showing us that love, in all its forms, is worth the wait, and that finding your forever is always possible.

All these people were on the same subway cart when that woman was set on fire. No one intervened or tried to stop the crime. Our society has collapsed, and politicians bear the responsibility for everything happening. Shame on us for trusting them and electing them. It’s time to bring them down, dismantle the entire system, and rebuild from scratch.

If a Gora has a turban on his head or does a few steps of Bhangra, many of us start highlighting that heaping praise on them. Nothing wrong with that. But not a word of appreciation when own PM visits our Gurdwaras, wishes us on our every occasion, puts on turban, engages with Sikhs regularly, praises our religion and Gurus, the same lot go mute! What does it say? Nothing but insanity and biased attitude of always being anti-establishment. Don’t we need a serious introspection?

Men praised Hitler, shamelessly, in front of cameras, in Europe in 2023. Shame on you, Europe. Shame on Germany for saying ”Never Again” only to import grave antisemitism. Shame on Sweden for remaining quiet while the majority of Jews fled Malmö because of Arabic antisemitism. Shame on our politicians for turning many European streets into Middle Eastern streets. Shame on our politicians for technically erasing Europe’s borders and calling everyone who criticizes these policies ”racist” or ”far-right.” Shame on Western media that has gaslit critics and made them believe that they are spiteful and hateful for opposing the Middle Easternization of Western Europe.
