If Seun Okínbalóyè has been reduced to reading unverified social media junk and still calls himself a journalist, then journalism is in serious need of CPR. Dele Giwa must be rolling in his grave. OT6, y’all have lost the plot. This is an app. Mass-reporting someone’s account is against X’s rules, and K-pop fan wars are never that serious. You don’t see OT7 mass-reporting people just because they disagree with their opinions. On this app, it’s okay for people to have different views. At the end of the day, everyone is going to keep their own opinions, and that’s completely normal because people can think for themselves. So can we please regain the plot? This is supposed to be a space for discussion, not a reason to try and get someone’s account taken down over fan wars.

Today marks the beginning of what some call Pride Month. For Christians, we celebrate today like we do every day - that this is the day the Lord has made, so let us rejoice and be glad in it. When we see the acronym LGBTQ, we don’t see sexual identities to celebrate, we see image-bearers of God who are doing what’s right in their own eyes and need the kind of love that points to Jesus and His truth. The truth is God made us male and female so that a man can leave his father and mother and hold fast to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh. God IS love and He has the authority to define it. He calls homosexuality a sin, and holy marriage between a man and woman very good. The most loving thing we can do is agree with God. We can’t love others by affirming sin. This is my response to why we don’t celebrate Pride Month:

Posting about a public figure isn’t proof of “obsessive derangement.” And if someone actually shared private information or engaged in criminal activity, show the evidence and take it to the proper authorities. And what about the double standard? Candace has spent months talking about the same people and issues, but suddenly when someone else talks a lot about her, it becomes evidence of obsession. And if the FBI is credible when they bring you a threat against your life, how can they suddenly become untrustworthy when their conclusions don’t fit your narrative? If there’s evidence, show it.
