When Saturday night TV on BBC1 was special!

Generation Game , The Two Ronnies ( Phantom raspberry blower of old London Town ) Starsky and Hutch , Match of the Day 🤷‍♂️😎!!!!

What BBC4 should do on a Saturday is show what was on BBC1 on the equivalent Saturday night from 50 years ago. All the shows including the news and weather, Generation Game, MOTD, Starskey and Hutch, Parkinson etc

Saturday TV back in the 1970 were great. Tiswas in the morning, Grandstand or World of Sport in the afternoon. Dr Who, Dukes of Hazard, game show or whatever early evening, Starsky and Hutch, and the day ended with MOTD.

Then on bbc2 at 11 there was the horror double bill 👌

Huggy Bear was a cool character 👍

The your missing is the late film. Something like a Spaghetti western or a decent WW2 film. Still remember being allowed to stay up night and watch them with my dad. Simply better times, greatly missed.

Used to watch it with my gran while granny sitting as a young teen. David Soul said that improvised jump landing was one of the biggest mistakes of his life.
