a friend of mine has tourettes. he's a great guy who's tremendously smart and talented. it's unfortunate to read so many insensitive comments here, especially from people accusing her of “faking it.” tics can be severe and disruptive.

No clue, but certainly these types of things as well as others (allergies, autism, etc.) seem a lot more prevalent now
