I celebrate the life of Kizito Mihigo 🤍 as my spiritual leader ,in faith ✝️, in emotion 💔, and in humanity. I celebrate his life because he is the one who taught me how to love Rwanda 🇷🇼. My love for my country grew every time I sang his songs 🎶. When I was in primary school, I would walk home from class singing Kizito’s songs out loud. Our neighbors knew I had returned from school because they could hear my voice carrying through the neighborhood ,singing about humanity , love ❤️, and forgiveness 🕊. Kizito, as a Rwandan who survived the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi 🕯, brought a message of comfort to Rwandans. He spoke about love ❤️, about forgiveness 🕊, about shared humanity 🤍. He taught that your pain should never be used to dehumanize another person. That suffering should not make us blind to the suffering of others. When he composed the song “Igisobanuro cy’urupfu”(The Meaning of Death), reminding us that we are all human,not everyone welcomed that message. Because unity 🤝 threatens those who benefit from division. I never trained my abs directly for years…big mistake. I used to thing squats/deadlifts were enough. (This might be the case for some people but not everyone) Every time I used to diet down my abs never used to “pop” so to speak. Over the last few years I’ve trained abs directly 2x week. Kneeling cable crunches and ab crunch machine being my go to at the start of every leg day. Also helps lubricate the spine going through spinal flexion/extension before any axial loaded work. Surprise surprise my abs look better when I’m leaner these days. Something as simple 2-3 sets 2x a week with a big focus on getting stronger is better than nothing. Wish I’d started it sooner.

MNAKUMBUKA KABUDA? Last week, I met this young man who had recently turned 13. Some of you may remember him from a video that went viral a while back, where he and other boys were seen blocking the road and asking motorists for money. When his friends ran away, Kabuda was arrested and later released. When I spoke to him, he told me that they were not trying to harass anyone. According to him, they were simply pleading with good Samaritans for food and a little money to take home. I bought him some shopping, but I also wanted to understand his situation better. I told him I would like to meet his mother so I could find out why he was not in school. When I met his mother, I learned that he had dropped out of school after being sent home over school fees. Their father had passed away, leaving their mother struggling to provide for a family of eight. The mother is currently jobless, and because the family has very little, Kabuda had started going out to look for something to bring home. A 13-year-old should be in school learning, playing with other children and dreaming about his future not worrying about where the next meal will come from. I felt for this family, and I promised Kabuda that I would do whatever I could to help him get back to school. Today, I kept my word. I took Kabuda to Dagoretti Muslim Comprehensive Primary School. He will now be back in school, and I will continue supporting him as he moves forward with his education. This is more than just taking a child back to school. It is about giving him another chance. But there is still a bigger challenge at home. His mother is jobless and has eight children to take care of. Sammy Woodhouse took advantage of speaking at the Unite the Nation rally to tell an audience of tens of thousands that I am suing her. I don't think name dropping me in between Keir Starmer and a member of the rape gangs was accidental. Nor do I believe that this event was an appropriate place for this. Her statement produced a wave of abusive posts directed at me, including explicitly racist attacks targeting my ethnic background and religion. There were also vile allegations of paedophilia. The racist abuse from strangers is of no consequence to me. What is, however, is the response from people who know my work and what was done to me for speaking out, that still chose to publicly question my integrity before I had issued a single word in response. This did more damage than the racists. As far as I am aware, I am not suing Sammy Woodhouse. I have never written to her never mind issued any legal document against her. If I were seeking financial damages from her, as would be the case for suing someone, a formal claim would have been served directly to her. Neither I, nor my lawyers, have issued any such claim. The truth is there are other things going on here. I have tried my best not to get drawn into a public disagreement. Nowhere will anyone find a single post from me in any way attacking Ms Woodhouse. Unfortunately, as a consequence of her actions at the Unite the Union rally yesterday, I have no option other than defend myself. I will share my understanding during this evening's transmission. What is, however, is the response from people who know my work and what was done to me for speaking out, that still chose to publicly question my integrity before I had issued a single word in response. This did more damage than the racists. As far as I am aware, I am not suing Sammy Woodhouse. I have never written to her never mind issued any legal document against her. If I were seeking financial damages from her, as would be the case for suing someone, a formal claim would have been served directly to her. Neither I, nor my lawyers, have issued any such claim. The truth is there are other things going on here. I have tried my best not to get drawn into a public disagreement. Nowhere will anyone find a single post from me in any way attacking Ms Woodhouse. Unfortunately, as a consequence of her actions at the Unite the Union rally yesterday, I have no option other than defend myself. I will share my understanding during this evening's transmission. She’s technically right, in many places it’s actually illegal to pump your gas with the car running, with newer cars the risk is low but it’s still present. I am guilty of this especially when it’s hot or cold out, I rather just leave the car running and as soon as the pump starts. I will hop in the car to stay comfortable. I’ve never heard of or seen any fires caused by anyone leaving their car running, so for me the threat doesn’t exists. I’ve done this for as long as I’ve been driving, and for me I will continue to do so until something bad happens to change my mind. I see much worst than leaving your car running. So many times I see people still talking on the phone or smoking cigarettes. I feel if this was going to happen then it would have already happened due to the worst cases I see almost daily. The justification I have is if this was going to happen, why doesn’t my car just catch fire as soon as I pull into a gas station while others are driving.

Lord Jesus, Thank You for this day of worship to praise & glorify You. I pray You align our day with You will, & walk with us through today's journey on the path You cleared for us today. Lord, I thank you for the many blessings You lay on me day in & day out every day... I know I'm not deserving, yet the pour in, so I pray You allow me to be a blessing to anyone in need today. I pray You remove anything or anyone from today's journey who wants to do me harm, break curses meant to stop me, & any restrictions meant to slow or silence me today. Lord, forgive my trespasses or any harm I may have caused, just as I forgive any & all who came against me. I pray You remove all agents of hell & evil from my day, send all demons from my presence back to hell where they belong, as I rebuke the devil in the name of Jesus, my Lord & Savior.
