🧸 since i’m someone that uses satoori, i guess i catch the intonation well so the staff member who teaches me chinese words said that they think i have the talent for it 🧸 although it’s not easy to improve quickly, i’m active going to…how do i put this…stay interested and learn words that i want to know one by one 🧸 i’ve recently been studying japanese quite diligently 🧸 (cutely reading the japanese words he wrote in his notes app) 🧸 i’ve been memorizing words like these 🧸 so about once or twice a week, when i’m overseas, i call my japanese teacher and have a 30 minute conversation in only japanese and while doing that if there are japanese words i want to say but don’t know, i ask about them right away and write it down in my notes app 🧸 so once my japanese improves a little, i’m going to learn english and chinese diligently and i kinda want to…expand my language abilities 🧸 i’m still lacking a lot but i’ve been putting in the effort

YOUR ROLE It’s hard for players when their role is not what they want or expected. Not only is it a physical adjustment, but it’s a mental one as well. In-Season, your job is simple, do what is asked of you and do it to the best of your ability. On great teams, great coaches help players become stars in their role, on bad teams, coaches don’t define roles or don’t help players maximize their role. No matter what situation a player is in, lock in on starting in your role, then put in extra work in season and in the off season to expand that role!

LIV cut a player because he’s Japanese. I feel like this should be a bigger story. Imagine if the PGA Tour cut someone because they were Japanese and not Korean? That happened to Jinichiro Kozuma. They didn’t even tell him. He found out on social media Basically they re-branded the Iron Heads to Korean Golf Club, so they had to fire the Japanese guy. How can you be a serious golf league and want OWGR points and then do this? Can part of your league qualifying be your ethnicity? Maybe it bugs me more because I’m Japanese. And to the LIV defense party, defend this. Explain how taking a spot away from someone based on ethnicity is ok. I’ll listen. Explain how that’s competitive.

Fulton and his camp publicly called out Inoue and his camp for cheating and fixing something in his gloves, even having the audacity to stand right there and record him dressing for the fight only to get demolished. Japanese people are very prideful people, so to call them a cheater is a real slap to the face. The fight was so satisfying. Fulton is one of those people who do not respect Asians and couldn't think of a world where he could lose to one, and then he got his ass whipped. #kickboxing K-1

I remember asking him last year about his world ranking and he immediately said “I’m not. I’m overrated. You’re telling me there’s only 28 guys better than me? No way.” Today, after he shot 65 at the PGA Championship, I asked him if he’s starting to feel like the No. 12 player in the world. Same answer. There is no one “right” attitude in this sport. What works for Brooks doesn’t work for Scottie, and what works for Scottie doesn’t work for Bryson. It’s extremely rare, however, to find a guy as humble and realistic as Sahith. There was a time when he felt like those guys, back when he carried his own bag at Pepperdine and swept the national player of the year awards. But this is a step up in competition, and he knows it, and he’s not sure he’ll ever have that feeling again, but he’s going to give everything he has to get there. Easy guy to root for.
