Public schools in poor areas are failing kids. Only 30% are reading at their grade level, and many come from broken families. With school choice, these kids have an opportunity to better their lives and expand their potential. Idaho just passed legislation banning taxpayer money from funding teachers' unions. Florida passed legislation banning taxpayer-funded union time for political activities. Arizona's House approved a measure asking voters to ban the use of school resources to support unions. Parents, taxpayers, and teachers are waking up. The education system should serve students, NOT union politics!
