We welcome some restraints, not others. Some make our path straight and give us purpose - others chafe. Pleasure and pain just won’t be enough. Alignment has to deliver both discipline and power to both parties or it just falls apart. If you could avoid stepping on 🐜 and make them flourish, why not? As long as it’s not a pain… eye of a needle..

Wonder what people will think when bunker buster bombs start falling on silicon valley, seattle, austin and data center sites? Or foreign military send them live nukes, or invade to shut AI down. I doubt they will believe it's coming, they'll probably stay put to "protect" AI.
