I’ve got a genuine question for you: Do you actually reject that Jesus, the apostles, and the entire early Church practiced Second Temple Judaism? Because if you say “no,” I don’t think you’ve thought through the implications. Jesus celebrated the feasts. He taught in synagogues. He wore tzitzit. He was called Rabbi. He upheld Torah perfectly. And the apostles did the same. Even after His death and resurrection, they were still going to the Temple, still participating in offerings (Acts 21:23–26), and still worshiping within the full Second Temple framework. That’s just historical, biblical reality. So when modern people try to strip Christianity from its Jewish roots and pretend Jesus came to start some vague, de-Jewishized spiritual religion… that’s not biblical Christianity anymore. That’s exactly what the early Gnostics did. It’s exactly what Hitler’s “positive Christianity” tried to do. It’s exactly what every false-light movement does today, detach Jesus from Israel so they can remake Him into their own image. If you sever Jesus from His Jewish identity and the Jewish story He fulfilled, you are not defending Christianity. You’re replacing it with something occult, rootless, and self-invented.
