@jolingkent I disagree with the person interviewed on one thing - The Disney company did not make stories "relevant to modern times", they made timeless stories based on timeless tales and legends when it was still Walt's company.

The copyright of “Steamboat Willie” Mickey Mouse is in the public domain after 95 years. One game maker has been floating a trailer of a first-person shooter called “Mouse” (still in development). Funniest possible outcome is the game becoming a huge hit. Which leads to creation of a blockbuster film based on the IP. Which leads to a “Mouse” cinematic universe. Which leads to a streaming service called Mouse+. Culminating in a theme park that sells you a hot dog, diet coke and Mouse-branded misting fan for $130.

The Director-General of the Ghana Police Service’s Criminal Investigation Department has disclosed that a joint team from the CID and the Bank of Ghana, acting on intelligence, carried out an operation at key hotspots in Accra including Tudu, Circle, Airport, and Osu, known for illegal forex trading. The exercise led to the arrest of 29 suspects, including Togolese, Beninese, Nigerians, and Ghanaians, on Tuesday, 9th December 2025. When officers returned to the area about an hour later, they arrested 12 more individuals, bringing the total number of suspects to 41.
