The Taliban militants have gathered some of their relatives in Khost, distributed weapons to them & brought them before the media to declare their readiness for war against Pakistan. It appears the Taliban are prepared to sacrifice civilians in order to protect the TTP.

In Central Kurram district, an ongoing operation is underway against the Fitna al-Khawarij terrorists. The shared video clearly shows that most of these TTP fighters are actually Afghan Taliban members, their accents and communication over walkie-talkies make it obvious. Yet, despite this clear evidence, the Afghan Taliban regime continues to claim that the TTP is merely “Pakistan’s internal issue.”

TKD MONITORING: Afghan Taliban jailed 100 TTP militants but it is not enough: Dar Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, while briefing the media, said that during his visit to Kabul the Afghan Foreign Minister informed him that the Taliban had detained around a hundred TTP militants along with several of their facilitators. Dar acknowledged the arrests but stressed that “this is not enough.” He said Kabul had invited Pakistan to send a delegation to verify the detentions, yet Islamabad maintains that far more decisive and sustained action is needed against TTP elements operating from Afghan soil.
