I want to thank all of you for this rousing welcome back home. What it has done for me is that it has energized me, it has provoked me that for the rest of my life by the Grace of God, I will live for the interest of Plateau. I will ensure that by the Grace of God what God has destined for Plateau, I will make sure that day and night I will work hard to make it a reality, that God enabling me, we will end the insecurity in Plateau. Plateau people deserve better. Plateau will become a state where people will desire to come and stay within her borders. This judgement is historic and highly significant in the political journey of Plateau State. It is the rebirth of a new Plateau where God has demonstrated his sovereignty as the owner and giver of power.

Maybe you are facing some kind of hardship right now. Maybe it’s a health scare. A marriage that’s falling apart. A financial situation that has you staring at the ceiling at 2 in the morning. I want you to know something — if you are a Christian, you are not alone. Not even close. God is with you. Jesus said it Himself — “I will never leave you or forsake you.” (Heb. 13:5) Now here’s what’s interesting. A more literal translation of that verse has Jesus saying, “I will never, no never, NO NEVER leave you or forsake you!” In the original Greek, it’s actually a triple negative for emphasis. You simply cannot say it stronger than that. Get the point? Now listen — I want to be straight with you. Following Jesus is not a guarantee that life will be easy. If you are genuinely seeking to obey the Lord, expect opposition. Expect obstacles. Expect difficulties. That’s just the reality. But here’s the other side of that coin — also expect God to show up. Also expect Him to make a way when there seems to be no way. The road of faith can be hard, but you do not walk it alone. God is not watching your struggle from a distance. He is right there in the middle of it with you — and He will see you through!

[WATCH] THE PRESIDENT WILL NOT RESIGN. When it comes to the President, there is always a distinctive role between him being the President of the party and the state. There are many factors that influence the state in terms of governance and stability. If the President is called upon by some to resign and he keeps quiet it can throw the state into a state of turmoil. I want to make it clear that the officials agreed with the President on his approach, he took us into confidence and explained the factors that led him to make that particular pronouncement. We believe that the President did the right thing in pronouncing in the best interest of South Africa that he will not be resigning. There was nothing in terms of the judgment that warranted the President to resign it was just mere calls made by individuals and political parties that wanted to throw our country into a state of turmoil, uncertainty and anxiety. So it was imperative that he focus on that. It was correct for him to tell the country that from where he is standing there is nothing in the judgement that states he has done any wrongdoing and what he is going to do with the options in front of him and he has made this public. The President will take the Section 89 Report on review based on the outcome of the judgment and the legal advice he has received. There are no daggers out for the President to resign just opportunistic elements. These elements do not know what they want, they want to impeach and want him to resign, they do know what they actually want. The veracity of the report has not been tested in any committee so they don’t have a basis for the President to resign.
