Phones are just not made to work under high heat. The battery degrades, the performance, the brightness, touch everything goes to shit.

It's 79 degrees out and the phone throttled to that I wasn't even outside, I was driving with the AC on

Happens on my 13 pro max once it gets hot outside, and the screen dims to an almost unusable level.

Don’t leave it in the 100 degree sun and you’ll be fine

Yes, this is the case with iPhones. On YouTube, there is also a comparison at maximum load (call, gaming and so on), where the Max breaks down completely to 1 FPS. The Samsung survives the test very well 🤷🏻‍♂️. It's not an everyday situation, but it shows the poor heat management.

This is how my iPhone 13 Pro Max is almost daily. The device was a perfectly capable phone which was then sorely ruined by iOS 16.
