They may be a preacher, just not a Christian preacher. A preacher of some pseudo-Christian religion that picks and chooses what they want from the Bible along with pagan witchcraft and astrology. Jesus Christ isn’t the body of this church.

“‘They/them’ can refer to a singular person. Like I feel like if somebody comes to my house and drops off a package at the door, I say, ‘oh they left the package there.” When people make this argument, it’s such a pathetic level of cope. Yes, they/them can be a singular pronoun when the identity of the person is unknown (ie “someone left their wallet”). However, it is very odd, unnatural, and absurd to use “they/them” singular pronouns when the gender is known. It’s bizarre to look at Piers and refer to him as “they/them” because he demands it, or to look at this young woman who’s obviously a young woman and do the same. It comes naturally when you don’t know the identity of the individual; it doesn’t come naturally when the identity is known and the sex is obvious. And what’s more, it will never come naturally. People who think they’re “non-binary” need Jesus—not third-person singular “they/them” pronouns.
