If you want to see what else we can do, it’s also crazy precise

That’s awesome, but is it weird that I’m even more hyped about this description of the knobs? “Magnetic, easily removable knobs lay flush on the cooktop, meaning you can take care of clean-up before your soup gets cold.” Knobs are the worst part of every cooktop I look at.

The knobs are so much better than any other stove knob

Absolutely love that it shows power in kW! It will make power discussions more relatable to people. Also, I assume it has some form of battery or super cap? 10kW would be problematic for most house wiring and breaker panels.

Yeah it’s got a 3kWh (very high discharge rate) battery

Automatic boil-over protection! With an inductive control loop having that much power (and presumably precision), could you detect the power being dissipated into a pot and automatically turn it down when it sees the boiling phase change happen?

We have this prototyped (this mode actually sort of does it)
