When the world first reported on camera phones back in 2001

time really is a crazy thing. you dont notice change when you are in it. but my god how different the world is 25 years later

Time makes everything look ridiculous. Having a Nokia 3310 was a real flex back then, but looking at it now is hilarious. We were just grown people flexing with toys.

Nokia really messed up! They had the world by the balls and took their eyes from the balls...

And the dick pic was invented this day.

No go back. We messed up

The enigma of those "wonder phones" back then. People are so used to telephones yes with cords and everything, they see this one of mild bewilderment and eventually curiosity to use it the first time.

My first was the Orange SPV but as the camera had to be attached, I think I took about 10 photos with it ever

It will never catch on

@Mwirigi 20 years of technological revolution and now gearing towards the AI Era, next robotics

This feels like 100 years ago

It'll never take off

this guy is on Al Jazeera now

Branding this as a gimmick really shows that journalists have no understanding of the new technologies they’re reporting on

Notice the framing with "craze" & "gimmick".

I want to go back

@NLAHamilton @Jack_Doyle82 these was the days

The year we ruined everything and ourselves and it was never the same

@LBCbackOnDAB They never expected it to take off 🤔

@wholemars "It's going to take away our jobs"

Just having a big laugh watching this. Guess we are at the end of civilization.

Before phone snatching took off!

Make this video downloadable please!

I remember seeing this on the news (in the us) and yelling to my mom "mom come quick! It's the future!!"

And people stopped enjoying themselves

I bet many doubted these new fandangled thingies..

I wanna go back

most them kids be in 30s now

god sakes, i miss those days. technology was exciting then. we've plateaued since HD became standard.

And nudes where born 🤣

If the change in the upcoming 25 years is as drastic I can't imagine how scary things would be Tbh i can't keep up , i hope we regress

@moh_hassan_26

They’re holding & typing on them like current phones….in 2001. Jesus

@NLAHamilton Loved my 3310 and a game of snake

Nostalgia ….
